How long will it take to receive my order?
Legacy Food Storage uses FEDEX Ground for standard shipping on all orders in the lower 48 States*. Products generally ship from our warehouse within 3-5 business days after an order is placed. From that time, allow 3-5 business days for delivery.

*Additional rates apply on orders shipped to Alaska and Hawaii.

How does Subscribe and Save work?
We know that buying food storage can be a big decision. We also know that it can be a big financial commitment as well. For those that want to build their supply across several smaller, easy to handle purchases while also getting a great deal this is the route for you! Our subscribe and save offer provides you with an incredible 20% off the original price, can be easily modified, paused, or canceled at any time, and, as always, include free shipping! We offer many different timing options ranging from shipments every 30 days on up to 90 day intervals. We will notify you three (3) days before your next shipment should you wish to modify, pause, or cancel your order at that time. You also always have access to login to your account to adjust your subscription at any time. Or, if you’d like to talk to a real person, you can call in to one of our representatives and they can assist you as well! Unfortunately Subscribe and Save cannot be combined with any other discounts and is only available on a select few packages. We hope that Subscribe and Save allows you to put together a great long term emergency supply for your family on your own time and terms! Do you offer international shipping?
We do not offer shipments outside of the United States.  Legacy Premium has exclusive dealers in many countries and places around the world.  Please contact Legacy Premium directly on how to buy their product if you are an international visitor.Back to Top
What is your return/cancellation policy?
Because we offer products from three different partners, there are specific return details and warranty information for each respective category of the Legacy Food Storage site: Food, Water and Power. Please refer to our Return Policy page for details.

All canceled orders are subject to a 5% fee.

Will the products in my order be shipped together?
If your order contains a combination of products from any of our categories (Food, Water, Power), or if you order a Preparedness Package, you may receive separate parcels for each category item. Although the contents of your order should be delivered together, it’s possible that parcels included in your order may arrive at separate times.Back to Top
How Does Free Shipping work?
If you live in the lower 48 states of the USA and make a purchase, your entire order will be shipped to you free of charge. Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico residents will be charged extra due to the added expense to ship to these locations.Back to Top

What kind of packaging does Legacy Premium come in?
Legacy Premium Food Storage comes in six-serving Nitrogen flushed Mylar pouches with an Oxygen Absorber placed inside. With this unique process of double protection against residual oxygen levels, Legacy Premium pouches have way less than 2%, the bare minimum standard level of oxygen for long-term food storage. The pouches are then stored in stackable, heavy-duty , BPA-free polyethylene buckets that are perfect for storage. Each bucket has convenient handles or grips that makes it easy to transport and weighs less than 40 pounds. Do you offer any vegetarian products?
Most of the meals on this site are vegetarian friendly, the only exception being our selection of freeze dried meats. Legacy Premium decided to eliminate meats from their meal offerings in order to maintain nutritional value for longer periods of time while being stored.  Real meat contains fatty oils and amino acids, which break down over time and can lead to loss of taste and nutrition. So not only are our meals vegetarian friendly, but they taste great and will last for years to come without the need to rotate them.Back to Top
How much water do I need for a meal?
On average you will need one-cup water per serving. Although not mandatory, hot or boiling water is recommended for preparation.Back to Top
What is the best way to store freeze-dried food?
Like any type of food storage, freeze dried food is best preserved when stored in a cool, dark place that maintains a fairly consistent temperature.Back to Top

How long do filters last?
The life of the filters vary, but the average filter will purify up to 100 gallons of water. That’s the equivalent of 757 half liters of bottled water.Back to Top
What contaminates do the filters remove?
Seychelle filters successfully remove what is known as the A, B, C, D and R of water contamination:
Aesthetic - unpleasant taste and odors, cloudiness, silt, sediment, chlorine, chlorine by products.
Biological - harmful microscopic pathogens such as Cryptosporidium, Giardia and other cysts and spores.
Chemical - toxic chemicals: Trihalomethanes, PCBs PCEs, detergents, and pesticides.
Dissolved solids - including heavy metals such as aluminum, asbestos, cadmium, chromium 6, copper, lead, arsenic and mercury

How are filters tested?
All Seychelle filters are extensively tested by high quality US approved independent laboratories certified to test under the strictest EPA (Environmental Protection Agency), ANSI (American National Standards Institute) and NSF (National Science Foundation) standard methods and protocol.Back to Top
Do I ever need to clean the filters?
No. Do not run hot water through your filter, do not use soap on any filter, and do not run filters through the dishwasher.Back to Top
How will I know when its time to replace a filter?
The recommended filtration replacement is based on gallons per specific filter type, but a good rule of thumb is to monitor the flow of water. When it is difficult to get a good stream of water through a filter, it’s time for replacement.Back to Top
