For men, BMR=66 + ( 6.23 x weight in pounds ) + ( 12.7 x height in inches ) – ( 6.76 x age in years )For Women, BMR=655 + ( 4.35 x weight in pounds ) + ( 4.7 x height in inches ) – ( 4.7 x age in years )Since most of us at least get up and move around a little bit on an average day, finish the calculation by determining your level of activity from the chart below and using the included multiplier to find the daily number of calories you need.
