Legacy Premium places an Oxygen Absorber inside each Mylar pouch and then flushes oxygen out with a nitrogen flush before machine sealing to ensure that oxygen is not present. This unique process ensures that residual oxygen levels are well below 2%, the bare minimum standard for long-term food storage, and ensures that your food retains a rich flavor profile and high nutritional values for up to 25 years. Our Mylar pouches are also sunlight resistant and stored in stackable, BPA-free plastic buckets to offer maximum protection from water, rodents, and puncturing.
